[ The World of C has retained its ugly, surreal quality, he thinks as he nudges a large stone away with his shoe. Though he doesn't remember the place feeling quite so... substantial. Weird, yes. But the sun's heat that beats down through the cape and mask he wears feels dangerous, unforgiving.

But if this is the World of C, it means she's here somewhere; there isn't anyone left who could bring him here, as far as he knows. While appearing here is concerning, he'd like to see her again; it's been more than half a year.

He also plans to ask here why she's pulled so many other people in; ones he's never seen before. Something must be wrong. He looks up at the gate that leads into the ruins and makes out the name-- ]

"Central City"? [ His voice sounds a bit rough from lack of use, and also slightly metallic/inhuman as it passes through the mask's voice modifier. Lelouch really had thought of everything when he put the persona together. ]

Central City... Except it's nothing like the Central City she knew. Granted, she's never spent much time there, but at the very least, she'd have at least heard of ... well... this. Last thing she remembered was... voting.

And then, things got a little fuzzy.

Shaking her head, Black Canary takes a step into the city. It looks abandoned. Like nobody had lived there for years. (Centuries, even...) Nothing should surprise her anymore, after meeting Martian Manhunter and The Flash and Green Lantern. Should being the key word there...

Best she could guess is that this is some sort of illusion. But who created it? And how is she going to find her way out of it...?

[At least everyone else seems to be just as confused as he is.

Except he has no reason to trust that. His first mistake would be making any quick assumptions about these people. Everyone's acting confused, and perhaps some of them are genuine. It doesn't seem likely that this many people would band together just to deceive him. That doesn't mean that some of them aren't lying, though.

For now the best thing to do is play along with the overall mood. If there's an underlying trap to this, probably better not to give any hint that he suspects it.

Having taken only a few steps into the ruined city, Uilliam stands with hands on hips and a perplexed little frown on his face. They've been congregated out here long enough, he thinks, which means it's time to take a deeper look around. And regardless of whether or not he trusts these people, fact is he's not what anyone would describe as combat-ready.

Which means that he needs allies. Great. What an annoying dilemma to add on top of all this...

Uilliam looks back over his shoulder, calling to those still assembled;]

Heeey! Who's going to come exploring with me?

Margot wonders where the hell she's just woken up. She doesn't remember Mason's henchmen taking her anywhere against her consent. Is it possible they drugged her? Would she remember that? Or maybe it was Dr. Lecter? Whoever it was, they don't seem to have lingered around.

She pulls herself to her feet and starts looking around. This place looks like it's in ruins and abandoned, and it seems like something out of a fairytale or a science fiction movie. Maybe she dreaming, right? In which case, it wouldn't hurt to explore and try to figure out where she is before she wakes up. She shrugs and starts walking into the outer circle of the city, wondering if there are other people in her dream or maybe it's just her? Too bad Hannibal is no longer her psychiatrist. This would be quite an extensive topic of discussion in a therapy session.
